MInt Chocolate Chip and Fresh Strawberry Cupcakes

Last night I made two dozen cupcakes for a birthday. For the first dozen I made a fresh strawberry cupcake. Once they cooled I filed them with fresh strawberry preserves and frosted them with an almond buttercream. Yummmm. The second dozen I made a dark chocolate mint chocolate chip cupcake and topped it with a mint buttercream and green sugar crystals.

My mom's wedding... February 16th

My beautiful mother was married to an awesome man in February. Of course I had to make cupcakes!!! In all I did her favorites; chocolate peanut butter cupcakes, Oreo cheesecake cupcakes, and chocolate chip cookies!!! Turned out great!

Candy Corn Cupcakes!

This is a pumpkin chocolate chip cupcake with a homemade whipped cream frosting. I decorated them to represent candy corns!! They are for our Halloween Party tonight!!!

Strawberry Cream Cheese

These are the cupcakes that were ordered by one of Kurt's co-workers. It is a strawberry cupcake with cream cheese frosting. YUMMMMM....

BOY OR GIRL?

This was my favorite cupcake making extravaganza yet. A lady from work asked me to make these cupcakes because her daughter was finding out whether she was having a boy or girl. She asked me to make 2 dozen cupcakes with half having a strawberry filling and the other having a blue cream filling. She had the ultrasound tech call me today to tell me if it was a boy or girl and I told her which box to open and eat. Her whole family was getting together tonight and they were going to hand out cupcakes and all bite into them at the same time to find out what the sex was. I thought this was the coolest idea and was so happy to be able to be part of this fun experience. By the way it was a GIRL! Hope you enjoy as always! :)

Green Baby Shower Cupcakes

A lady at work ordered some baby shower cupcakes. I am happy with how they turned out. I was up late last night finishing them. I got new boxes to put the cupcakes in and am happy with that because they look much more presentable. Hope you enjoy

Fresh Strawberry Cupcakes

Today I had some time so I made some cupcakes. It has been a while because we have been really busy putting together our adoption profiles. Make sure to check out our personal blog at shaileenandkurt.blogspot.com. I made two different kinds but both are similar. The first was a chocolate butter cream frosting and the other is my famous cream cheese frosting. The cake is a fresh strawberry with real strawberry filling (puree). They turned out great and are delicious. Kurt specifically likes the cream cheese frosting and he doesn't even like cream cheese :) hope you enjoy!

Banana Split Cupcakes

This past weekend it was our turn to have Kurt's family over for our monthly dinner at our house. We had a BBQ with some really great food and so I decided to make a different kind of cupcake. This is a Banana Split Cupcake!!! mmmmmmm..... It is a banana cupcake made with a total of 4 bananas. Then people could put whatever they wanted on the top of the cupcake. There was icecream, chocolate, caramel, sprinkels, and of course a cherry.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Minis

I made these Chcolate Pudding Cupcakes from scratch with a creamy peanutbutter frosting for Stacy's and D's reception tonight for fun. Kurt said that they were delicious so hope you all enjoy!

Sweet Pea Cupcakes

So I was asked to make some babyshower cupcakes and all that they wanted is that they were girly cupcakes meaning they were pink and they didnt care what topping was on them. So I make a White Cake that I made from scratch with a homemade Swiss Meringue Buttercream frosting. I thought of the cute idea to put peapods on the top. Hope you enjoy! :)
